- Saturate the coat of the dog well with lukewarm water.
- Apply a palmful amount of amitraz shampoo from the base of the head down to the tail, concentrating mainly on areas evidently damaged and frequented by parasites.
- You may apply this shampoo on outer ear by using soft sponge saturated with amitraz shampoo.
- Lather the shampoo around the body avoiding he eyes and mouth.
- Leave for at least 5 minutes before rinsing and could be extended depending on the gravity of the case or as per advised by your veterinarian.
- Dog should be properly restrained from extraneous activities 24 hours before and after treatment.
- Do not apply on puppies under 4 months of age, smaller toy breed dogs and chihuahua's.
- Avoid contact on eyes and skin.
- Bath your dog in a well ventilated place where running water is available.
