Instruction for use
1. Fill slowly to level line by dipping below water surface. Avoid turbulence which may cause air bubbles to attach to pointer.
2. Air bubbles which are attached to pointer must be dislodged to obtain accurate reading. After filling hydrometer with water sample, gentle tap pointer with a pencil to dislodge any bubbles that may remain on pointer.
3. Read specific gravity on inside scale, and salinity in parts per thousand (ppt) on outside scale. Be certain that water surface is parallel tolevel line. For most marine aquariums, recommended specific gravity should be 1.020 to 1.023
4. Rinse with fresh water after use.
